Planning
The first phase of a successful engagement is to identify a client's asset recovery goals and requirements.
Our team of Asset Recovery consultants work closely with clients to provide and obtain information critical in building a tailored asset recovery plan.
Teksavers will coordinate with facility managers, fixed asset accountants, insurance agents, and property tax accountants to ensure they have everything they need to affect the recovery and disposal of the assets.
Logistics
Our consultants can arrange to transport your assets to Teksavers facilities. We can manage the entire process, from obtaining quotes to the physical removal of the assets.
Whether assets number in less than ten or greater than 1000, Teksavers is able to handle even the most complex logistics scenarios.
Audit & Tracking
Teksavers has made a large investment in custom software tools designed to track each asset through the entire asset recovery process.
Assets arriving at the Teksavers facility are reconciled to ensure that all assets are received and accounted for.
Teksavers barcode tags are attached to each asset and logged into our database. Additionally, property tags can be removed, recorded for reporting purposes, and returned to the client.
Testing & Refurbishing
Whether the asset is a single PC or a complicated network switch, our technology professionals are able to test a large variety of technology assets.
Market experience has shown that assets that are tested and guaranteed result in the maximum return on investment.
Teksavers is often able to refurbish defective or incomplete products by adding or replacing parts available from the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). Every effort is made to recover as much value as possible. Assets that cannot be refurbished are broken down and sold as parts, such as CPU, Memory, Hard Drive, Power Supply, and more. Depending on value, some assets such as network routers & switches are sent out for repair.
Data Removal
Data erasure is an essential part of any company's data security strategy.
Companies have realized the benefits of using an experienced data erasure partner to address security concerns.
Companies disposing of technology assets may not be aware of the legal and economic risks associated with private and confidential information stored on hard drives and network equipment.
Teksavers has partnered with a leading data erasure software partner to ensure that hard drives are wiped according to industry standards including but not limited to the U.S. Department of Defense Sanitizing (DOD 5220.22-M).
Network devices such as routers & switches are often disposed of with valuable configuration information left in memory. Network addresses (or IP Addresses) are often left for anyone to see resulting in possible hack attempts. Network equipment is cleared of any sensitive configuration data by our team of highly trained network specialists.
A Certificate of Destruction is provided to clients indemnifying them of any liability caused by or brought on by the recovery of any sensitive data.
Recycle
Technology assets deemed to have no value are properly recycled utilizing certified partner companies that conform to all Federal, State and Local requirements for the environmentally secure Recycle of electronic material.
Clients are provided with a Certificate of Destruction / Recycle indemnifying them of any liabilities created by the improper Recycle of electronic material.
Inventory
Teksavers provides abundant and secured warehousing capabilities for storing client assets.
Teksavers utilizes the most accurate and complete tracking system in the industry making it possible to locate your assets at any given time.
Remarketing
Teksavers takes great pride in the sales channels that have been developed to maximize return on investment.

Accounting & Reporting
Teksavers promotes a total disclosure policy. Clients are invited to review project activity at any point during the process or to request backup documents that support project activity. Teksavers recognizes that trust is critical to achieving the goal of minimizing the client's involvement in the asset recovery process. As such, Teksavers conducts itself with utmost integrity to ensure a long lasting, beneficial engagement.
Teksavers has invested heavily in creating an Asset Recovery application that encompasses all facets of the process. This software integrates purchasing, receiving, sales, inventory broadcasts, shipping, accounting, inventory location tracking, project management, work flow, real time inventory availability and much more. The software is customizable to meet the most stringent customer requirements.
Teksavers assigns unique project numbers and inventory tag numbers that are used to track the activity of each technology asset as it flows through the asset recovery system. A project status report can be generated to provide clients with the information necessary to facilitate procedures such as reconciling fixed asset ledgers, terminating software licensing and/or service agreements, charging/crediting appropriate departments, and determining return on investment.
Project Management
Teksavers employs project management techniques to ensure that each project remains on schedule and achieves client goals and expectations.
The project manager coordinates activities, provides feedback, generates reports, and serves as the liaison between the client and the Teksavers Asset Recovery Group.
