A customer wanted to know how they could go about upgrading a Cisco WS-C3750-24PS-S to the EMI or Enhanced Multilayer Image software.

When talking to customers we are surprised to see how many of them beilieve that simply having a smartnet contract allows you to download and install any software upgrades, including features, free of charge. This is simply not true. In this case, the EMI software is a software feature and not a software version upgrade.
