WS-X6824-SFP-2T is integrated with 24-port SFP fiber Gigabit Ethernet interface module with WS-F6K-DFC4-E daughter card for 6500 E-series with supervisor 2T only. Equipped with WS-F6K-DFC4-E daughter card, WS-X6824-SFP-2T ensures to deliver optimal performance up to a sustained 60Mpps for layer 2, IPV4 and MPLS forwarding, and makes this module ideally suited for high performance enterprise, Service provider distribution, core layer, data-center and Metro Ethernet applications. The 24-port module has one 20G fabric connection while the other new modules have two 20G fabric connections (for 40G total bandwidth). The 6800 series 16-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet fiber module is suitable for deployment in access and aggregation network in Campus and Data Center: WS-X6816-10G-2T: 16-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Module with DFC4 and WS-X6816-10G-2TXL: 16-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Module DFC4XL Backplane connection: Connects to the switch fabric using dual full-duplex 20 Gbps switch fabric channels (40 Gbps total) Chassis/slot support: Can occupy any slot in Cisco Catalyst 6503E, 6504E, 6506E, 6509E, and 6509-V-E.
