Quality Control

Incoming product is put through a rigorous Quality Control process.

Every unit is inspected, tested and refurbished to ensure that our clients get high quality equipment.

Our process starts with a thorough visual inspection of internal components, external appearance and OEM packaging. If there are any concerns regarding the equipment, it will be set aside for further evaluation.

Once the item passes inspection, it proceeds to the product lab where it is tested to ensure that it is fully functional.

If fully functional, it moves on to the refurbishing/accessory area. Accessories are recombined with the unit and if required; it goes through our industrial grade paint booth.

As the final step, it is graded and moves on into our "Ready for Sale" inventory.

Counterfeit Warning

Since 2010, Counterfeit Cisco product has been on the rise.  Certain Cisco GBICs are heavily counterfeited and, if allowed to be used in a working environment, poses a higher risk of performance issues or failure within the equipped product.

A primary supporter of Verification Systems Technology, Teksavers solves this problem by utilizing the VST testing protocol, ensuring that all of our Cisco GBICs are verified genuine. We open and inspect each unit to ensure they match approved OEM internal components.  Any questionable product is brought to the attention of VST, where a second check is conducted to determine authenticity.

What this Means for You:

  • Buying GBICS from Teksavers means buying peace-of-mind, as VST testing protocols are an additional step in quality control that differentiates us from our competitors.
  • Your equipment will be authentic Cisco-brand product, guaranteed.

Return Policy
  • No Longer Needed - Equipment must be returned in the original sale condition. For example, all NEW equipment must be returned unopened in the original packaging, include all accessories and manuals (where applicable), and must be free from cosmetic damage.  Products that are not returned in original condition will be returned to the customer at their expense.  This warranty policy is limited to 5 days from date of receipt.  These returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • Defective—A “defective” item may be returned when it fails to operate as originally intended within the warranty period. Ordering a wrong or incompatible product does NOT qualify under this return policy. Teksavers reserves the right to test defective products. Upon completion of the test, if they are determined to be fully functional; Teksavers, may deny refund or replacement request. Products not covered under the defective RMA policy will be returned to customers at their expense.

Our Standard Return Policy (Warranty) covers equipment returns due to defect or failure and is not related to the manufacturer warranty.  Warranty coverage is for normal use and does not include damage due to improper handling, Acts of God, War, etc. We will only accept returns for cosmetic issues when identified within 48 hours of receipt. The length and replacement period of the warranty can be extended and should be discussed with your sales associate. Returns on items that are not defective are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
